The Genie® Model 130M is designed to remove 100% of entrained liquids and particulate from gas samples. The Genie® Supreme Series 100 models are also available, which offer an improved housing design for easy maintenance and the innovative Liquid Block Technology™ that prevents liquid from being forced across the membrane should sample line pressure conditions become upset.
This model is also designed to provide two important features. First is the "straight-through" fluid flow path between the inlet and bypass ports. This provides an inertial pre-separation of the solids and liquids from the gas sample flowing toward the membrane. This extends membrane life in applications where the level of solid is high or the gas sample contains oils or polymers.
A second feature of the Model 130M is the built-in Membrane Retention Plate (MRP). The MRP protects the membrane from damage should internal reverse flow occur. It retains the membrane and prevents it from "ballooning" into the inlet cavity. Existing Genie® Model 130's can be easily upgraded to Model 130M’s by installing a Model 130M cover.
